Sunday 30th
Tel Aviv, Caesarea, Haifa, Tiberias

"In the morning, stroll through the Carmel market. Depart Tel Aviv, traveling north along the coastal highway. Arriving in Caesarea, visit its ancient Roman port and aqueduct, Byzantine streets, and Crusader ruins. Continue by coach to Mt. Carmel for a panoramic view of Mukraka Monastery and Haifa Bay. Visit the Druze Villages and their attractive markets nearby. Continue to Haifa and view the Bahai Gardens. Depart for Nazareth and visit the Church of the Annunciation, the largest basilica in the Middle East, before continuing to Tiberias."

Our faithful purple bus

Caesarea

Really noisy group of Palestinian school boys

As if on cue an Israeli Apache atttack helicopter buzzed by overhead

Ancient Roman aquaduct

On the drive we would get to have a real life Israeli experience- some little Palestinian kid through a rock hitting the bus window by me- little punk.
Any clue what he was doing, or just trained to hate?

Bahai Gardens

Lunch of shawarma (turkey) and a Coke for lunch, 10 shekels

Church of the Annunciation- Nazareth
This is on the spot where Mary had lived and where she was told by the angle Gabriel that she was pregnant.
This is by far the coolest, most interesting church I have ever been to.

Nicole had saw me pet Jesus' head for good luck, like rubbing Budda's belly, so of course wanted to do the same.
Of note is placing your right butt cheek over St. Peter's face has been known to negate that good luck.

Cool- this pattern gives the effect that you are walking down stairs

There was an actual mass going on while we were there

The contribution from America, pretty cool

And the one from Japan

Jesus is with me

Ron Beach Hotel in Tiberias

Only $2 per day for wireless internet.
Dinner was a good buffet downstairs at the hotel restaurant where I would sit with Susan and Mirabella.
