And the road to The Final Four goes through Dave
Funny enough, I had to go through St. Louis for this trip, home of this year's Final Four...
So barely an hour into my seven hour commute from Lexington to Charlotte, I saw the signs indicating that
I would be driving by
Corbin, home of the original
Kentucky Fried Chicken. Talk about serendipity! Ever since I saw a
show on the Travel Channel (this is
#5 on the world's best fast food stops)
about its existence I've wanted to come here, and new I would make the trip out someday. Anyone that knows me knows of my
love for KFC, and I've generally eaten at one in every country I've been to.
So this really was a nice bonus to have it happen now.

I was hoping to collect six of these pictures, but unfortunately really only got two. You could see our team was exhausted, and while capable of beating any team, we were capable of losing to any team as well. Consolation for our undermanned team of overachievers is that there is a darn good chance we could go all the way next year.
